Product Description
Designed through testing and feedback from Rebecca Rusch, we set out to make the ultimate saddle to suit her endless rides. All-day comfort is achieved through a generously open channel that divides supportive outer zones to alleviate pressure on sensitive bits. Its short nose provides seamless on-off transitions while a slightly swooped shape provides an adequate tail to brace against. The Koda boasts a shape that everyone can enjoy, making it female-focused without being women’s specific.
Usage: Cross Country - Trail - Enduro - Bikepacking

Microfiber Cover
Found on all WTB saddles, our Microfiber Cover closely replicates the look and feel of a leather cover, but with the anti-microbial and cruelty-free benefits of a synthetic material. The supple nature of the Microfiber Cover allows the foam to fully support the sit bones without interfering with its resiliency.

I am a 60+ man and have been cycling for 50 years and for at least the last 20 I have always expected some saddle soreness as part of cycling. I could ride 30km and would be sore the last 10 and the rest of the day. Determined to find the right saddle, I have been testing a bunch the last weeks - including a WTB Volt in 142mm and the stock saddle that came with my bike. The Volt was good very, but the Koda is the first saddle I have ridden on that was comfortable from the moment I sat on it and the entire ride, including a few kilometers over cobble stone roads and broken sidewalks and gravel paths. It was comfortable for my entire ride and for the first time in decades I experienced no saddle soreness during and after a long ride. Wonderful saddle and I love it.

Unsuitable for longer rides (>30 miles).

My wife found the KODA Chromoloy saddle very comfortable, but only for the first 30 miles. After that it became progressively more uncomfortable, believed due to the soft padding. Based on DEVA experience, I then bought a KODA steel but was surprised to find this has even softer padding.

Padding on both KODA versions is specified as being similar/identical to DEVA. In fact, the padding is very different. Both DEVAs (Chromoly and steel) are much firmer and vastly superior. Also, DEVA Steel feels FIRMER than the Chromoly, whereas KODA steel is SOFTER. These inconsistencies make saddle selection very difficult.

Sadly, KODA seems to be the only female specific saddle in the WTB range. It's heading in the right direction but the padding needs further development. Time to catch up, guys!

PS My Volt Race saddle from 2016 (= Volt Chromoly?) is superb. It feels a tad hard for the first 5 miles, after which I don't notice it at all - even up to my 124 miles daily record! Padding feels identical to DEVA Chromoly.
Keep up the good work!
