Wilderness Trail Bikes Worldwide Limited Warranty – Europe

Wilderness Trail Bikes, Inc. (hereinafter “WTB”) warrants to the original retail purchaser ("you, the consumer") that the WTB product for which you received this warranty is free from defects in material and workmanship for the periods and products set forth below from the date on the original retail purchase receipt. Please see the current full warranty policy below for details.

WTB Carbon Rim models all CZR (rim only): Limited Lifetime*
WTB Carbon Rim models Ci24 and Ci31: 3 years (thirty-six months)
All other WTB Products: 24 months (twenty-four months)

*Limited Lifetime: means the life of the original owner for as long as the original owner is using the product for personal noncommercial use, subject to other conditions of this warranty.

Proof of Purchase: from an authorized retailer, showing date of purchase, price paid, and specifying the WTB product for which the warranty is sought.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty is not transferable to a subsequent purchaser. Our sole obligation under this warranty is to either, at our discretion:

repair the claimed defect at no charge, or
exchange the product with a product that is new or at least functionally equivalent to the original product.

The warranty submission form must be completed and submitted via this website within 60 days of discovery of any claimed defect or lack of conformity of the product, and be accompanied by a copy of the original retail purchase receipt. Repaired products are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty (from the original date of purchase). Replaced products are covered by a new warranty period.

The duration of any implied warranty or condition, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise, on this product shall be limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above. WTB shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage, whether direct, incidental, consequential, or otherwise, resulting from breach of any express or implied warranty. Some countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may vary across European countries. This warranty will be interpreted pursuant to the laws of the European Union. The original English language version of this warranty controls over all translations, and WTB is not responsible for any errors in translation of this warranty or any product instructions.

No company or person (including our employees or agents) is authorized to modify, enlarge, or extend this warranty in any way or make any other warranties, expressed or implied. This warranty is not intended to confer any additional legal or warranty rights to you other than those set forth herein or required by law. If any portion of this warranty is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such finding will not invalidate any other provision.

If your product packaging contains a written warranty policy that differs from the warranty policy at wtb.eu/warranty, the warranty policy on our website is considered most current and will be controlling at the time your warranty claim is made. WTB reserves the right to modify this warranty at any time. It is the retailer's obligation to provide this warranty to you upon request.

To Obtain Warranty Service

Consumer claims for warranty service must be made within 60 days of discovery of any claimed defect through the WTB Warranty Claim form at:

In some cases, WTB may require the product submitted for warranty consideration to be sent back for review/assessment. Do not return any product to WTB unless requested. Any postage, insurance, or shipping costs incurred in sending your product for service are your responsibility. WTB will not be responsible for products lost or damaged in shipping. Please ensure your product is clean before sending it for inspection. Charges may be assessed if cleaning is necessary.

Warranty Determination

If the product is not covered under warranty, all replacement, repair, and shipping costs are your responsibility. By sending your product in for evaluation, you agree that WTB cannot return unrepairable, unwarranted products to you (without a signed release) if they are unsafe to use in their unrepaired/unrepairable condition.

At no time may any retailer or distributor make representations of what is covered or not covered under this warranty without express written permission from WTB. Should a retailer or distributor replace a product before consulting WTB, it is at their sole discretion, and they may not be reimbursed by WTB. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property, and the returned product becomes WTB’s property. By accepting a replacement part, you waive all rights to other claims arising from the original part.

WTB will make the warranty determination within 30 days after receipt of all requested information.

WTB is not liable for any damage or injury caused as a result of use of a damaged product once damage has been detected.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover the following:

Claims without a dated proof of purchase from an authorized WTB retailer.
Tires designed for tubes used without compatibility (non-TCS products).
Products that have been modified, neglected, poorly maintained, used commercially, misused, or involved in accidents.
Damage occurring during shipment (claims must be presented directly to the shipper).
Products covered by another warranty.
Altered, defaced, or removed serial numbers or identifying marks.
Products purchased used or not in new condition.
Incomplete product returns.
Damage from improper assembly or repair, incompatible parts, or failure to follow instructions.
Products purchased from non-authorized retailers or grey market channels.
Cosmetic damage (paint, decals, aesthetics).
Labor costs to remove, refit, or adjust items.
Components not originally sold by WTB.
Costs of returning or shipping products.
Normal wear and tear.
Commercial claims made by merchants or resellers.
Products where the consumer does not follow warranty procedures outlined above.

Carbon Rim Replacement Policies

CZR “While-Riding” Replacement Policy

Free replacement for CZR Carbon rims broken while riding.
Must provide proof of purchase.
Rim replacement is for the original owner only.
Free wheel rebuild if purchased as a complete WTB wheel; €99 if rim-only.
Customer pays shipping to WTB; WTB covers return shipping within Europe.

CZR “Non-Riding” Replacement Policy

Rim replacement at 50% of current rim MSRP for original owner if damaged off-bike.
Original rim must be returned.
Wheel rebuild rules same as above.
Customer pays shipping to WTB; WTB covers return shipping within Europe.

Carbon Ci24/Ci31 5-Year Crash Replacement Policy

Year 1–2: 50% off MSRP
Year 3–4: 30% off MSRP
Year 5: 20% off MSRP
Available to the original owner only.
Covers rims broken during normal riding.
Sales tax, shipping, VAT, and import duties not covered.
