Product Description

The Bailiff maintains order through the most adverse winter conditions. The 4.5" width provides the surface area needed to stay on top of the fluffy stuff while tall, widely-spaced knobs improve braking and cornering traction on packed snow. Available with or without carbide studs pre-installed, all versions feature 312 stud pockets for unbeatable traction on ice. The Bailiff's tubeless-ready 120tpi casing provides a supple ride feel, conforms to all surface conditions, and minimizes rotational weight. Its snow-specific compound remains soft at extremely cold temperatures to provide unparalleled traction on the most frigid days of the year. Refuse to call winter the "off" season? Passed the test

This tire came stock on my new fat bike so instead of paying for a set of new studded tires$$$ I decided to buy the WTB studs and stud them myself. I rode these tires all winter where conditions varied from a few inches of fresh snow over dirt to freshly groomed trails to the trails being almost entirely ice. These tires did not disappoint in any condition and no studs were lost.

The Tires Shred

This tire is basically a wider Wrathlorde copycat that you can self-stud coming in 27. 5x4. 5". No more 45NRTH XL concave studs that shed like my dog in the spring and cost $$ to restud every ride. Fully studded DIY these things grip like velcro and absolutely shred hard if you like your fat biking like your mountain biking. Steep and fast, with aggressive cornering on rougher trails. Get yourself over the front and have too much fun cornering like a maniac.

Hard pack - Roots - Ice - Snow - Fully Studded

I fully studded the tire immediately and put it on the front. This has all the ice traction I remember from being on Ice Spiker tires. It railed flat asphalt corners and then into the trees. It took on the chunder of a foot-packed trail and tracked well. In the corners with light snow over the foot-packed it did not let me down as I pushed the corners. The next ride included small jumps, roots, wooden tech features, punchy climbs, and puckery descents (blues and blacks in the summer trail ratings) all under lite snow cover over snow and ice. This is a very well thought out tire. Pick your poison for the suggested stud patterns and get out there. It will be awesome front and rear.
